GIO Massage

Growing up in a small town in the Philippines, I was exposed to alternative forms of healing – using guava leaves to cure wounds, drinking herbal teas for various ailments, and the magical touch of massage, or what we Filipinos call “hilot”. My father had the gift of healing, and I’ve always felt like I had it too. So when I moved to the US and had the opportunity, I studied massage therapy at Brenneke School of Massage and obtained my license in 2003. At the time, I was only doing massage on the side as I was working full time in the banking industry, and then later in food service. But the call to focus on healing was strong, so I started working full time as a massage therapist starting in 2013 and have loved every minute since.

I incorporate a variety of modalities and techniques, tailored to each individual’s specific needs. I specialize in treatment massage for acute and chronic injuries, and find great fulfillment when I’m able to help relieve my clients’ pain.
